Brown Town: Zine & Exhibition Launch

This Saturday, Brown Town opens its doors with an evening of art, community, and celebration. The kaupapa brings together a line-up of incredible voices in both an exhibition and the first volume of a brand-new zine.

I’m excited to share that I have a piece included in the zine. Contributing to Brown Town has been a chance to sit alongside other writers and artists who are shaping space with honesty, humour, and heart.

The launch will be held at 181 High Street, starting from 5pm, and will feature work from Sylvia Anitele‘a, Keelin Bell, Grace Colcord, Alyx Devlin, Abigail Hau, Malaea Mcfadyen, Paris Porter, Geo Aroha Thompson-Skipworth, Kasi Valu, Mona Vasa, and Hayley Walmsley.

The exhibition runs until the 13th of September, so there’s time to stop by even if you can’t make opening night. Come through, grab a copy of the zine, and join us in celebrating the first step of what promises to be an ongoing, collective movement.
